Plethoryt launches a publication support grant - apply by October 25, 2025

The Publication Support Grant is designed to help deserving researcher transform their manuscript into a publishable work with the guidance of expert consultant/s from Plethoryt. This program provides personalized consultancy, strategic journal guidance, and hands-on advisory support to ensure that valuable research doesn’t remain on the shelf, but contributes meaningfully to the academic community.

We created this program because too many theses, dissertations, and independent studies end up unpublished and inaccessible, despite holding knowledge that could benefit society. By bridging the gap between research and publication, Plethoryt empowers scholars, graduate students, and independent researchers to share their work on the global stage and strengthen the culture of research visibility in the country.

Through this initiative, the winner will receive comprehensive publication support — including manuscript refinement, journal recommendation, and pre-peer review feedback — all anchored in Plethoryt’s mission to become a trusted knowledge partner for researchers and innovators.

Who can join

The program is open to:

• Researchers, graduate students, and early-career scholars preparing their thesis-derived papers or original research manuscripts for publication.

• Professionals with applied or technical studies that can be shaped into a research article.

• Authors who have not yet submitted their manuscript to a journal, or whose paper needs refinement before resubmission.

• Participants from any field of study, as long as the manuscript is research-based, substantial, and publishable (see eligible manuscript types below).

None (it's free to join)

Grant value

The selected winner will receive a Plethoryt Publication Mentorship Package valued at ₱50,000.00 and will be delivered as mentorship and expert collaboration (non-cashable). This package includes:

1. Online mentorship session

2. Comprehensive manuscript refinement (full editing, polishing, and structural improvement of the paper)

3. Journal recommendation strategy (tailored options from Scopus-indexed, open access, or local journals, depending on the manuscript’s scope and goals)

4. Submission guidance (step-by-step support in preparing cover letters, formatting manuscripts, and ensuring journal compliance)

5. Peer-style review (a mock review process that anticipates reviewer comments and strengthens the paper before formal submission)

6. Post-acceptance support (includes feedback and support during the revision process)

Requirements

1. A legitimate Filipino citizen (age 18+)

2. The manuscript or research has undergone institutional or scholastic evaluation (e.g., thesis panel or other committee)

3. Owns the copyright to the material

4. The manuscript adhered to our academic integrity policy

5. Submit an official grant application

6. Agree to the terms and conditions of the program

Program duration

• Application starts: September 6, 2025

• Application duration: 7 weeks

• Application deadline: October 25, 2025

• Screening and selection: 2 – 3 weeks

• Grant conferment: November 15, 2025

• Grant validity: 3 months after the award

How it works

1. Participants fill out the online application and upload their manuscript.

2. Plethoryt team screens all submissions for eligibility.

3. A review panel evaluates manuscripts based on:

   • Clarity and quality of research

   • Potential impact and novelty

   • Readiness for publication

4. Shortlisted candidates are notified, and one winner is chosen.

5. Winner receives full publication support package from Plethoryt.

6. Non-winners are notified and may be offered consolation benefits (voucher/discount).
